# Shopify POS

Officially speaking we do not fully support Shopify POS, but this in our pipeline. Here is what we already support:

* When a customer completes a purchase and provides their email address and accepts to receive marketing email they are automatically enrolled in your rewards program.
* When a customer completes a purchase and provides their email address and accepts to receive marketing or is a member of your rewards program they will automatically be credited for the order (assuming you set up a loyalty rule).

The following features are not supported:

* Redemption on POS is not supported. You are still able to debit your customers manually from the Beans interface.

Depending on your order volume you may still want to use Beans with your Shopify POS, knowing that the redemption process is not yet integrated. If you do, please let us know if you face any bugs.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.trybeans.com/integrations/shopify/shopify-pos.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
